There is no doubt that the main attraction in living in Spain is the weather. Especially the nearly guaranteed period of continuous sun from June - September, including evenings (nights if you wish) when you know you can BBQ or just sit outside watching a movie or just simply relaxing. There is usually at least two or three periods during the winter and spring when it is rainy, but these are usually for only a few days and rarely lasting a full week. The remainder of the winter you can sit in the warm sun, if you like reading, its an ideal situation. I will not dwell on the UK weather experienced during the past few years.
